Isaiah Zagar’s Chambersburg Mural Project
Superior Floorcoverings & Kitchens has a flair for design and the creative use of space as well as a passion for minimizing waste by reusing, repurposing and restoring materials. When reading, in Downtown Happenings (a Downtown Chambersburg Inc. newsletter), that artist Isaiah Zagar needed 1,500 square feet of flooring tiles for the Chambersburg Mural Project, Superior Floorcoverings & Kitchens was excited to offer taking the lead in collecting tile contributions.
With the support of Superior Floorcoverings & Kitchens generous vendors, customers and the community, Superior was able to collect and donate over 1,000/sf of tile to Isaiah Zagar's mural project. Isaiah Zagar and his group of volunteers installed two mosaic murals on two buildings in downtown Chambersburg. It is exciting to witness unused unwanted tile that would have been otherwise thrown away or left consuming space transformed into a work of art!
See Isaiah Zagar's work in person at Main Street Deli and The Foundry.
Superior Floorcoverings & Kitchens would like to thank Conestoga Tile and Garden State Tile for their generous contributions to our local mural project.
